The Infinite Doodle Blanket

$25.99
  • Every sofa has the same throw from the same store. Yours doesn't have to. The Infinite Doodle Blanket is a 150 x 115cm decorative textile printed with dense, intricate line-art retro characters, cassette nostalgia, seasonal patterns that you color in yourself.
  • Drape it over a sofa arm, fold it across a dining chair, lay it as a table centerpiece.
  • The color palette is yours to decide. And when you want a change for new season, new mood, new dinner party theme or toss it in the machine and start again.
  • The washable ink disappears completely, every time. Same blanket. Entirely different room.

The markers that come with it are a bit thin — my daughter kept wanting thicker ones for the bigger sections. Minor gripe.

But we've washed and re-colored this thing four times now. Four. She does it differently every time — last week she did the whole thing in purple "because it's a purple week." Zero mess on the actual sheets underneath, washes out completely. I bought it expecting a one-time activity. It's basically a rotating hobby at this point.

My dorm room was depressing. Plain walls, sad furniture, the usual. I threw this on my bed half-colored and it genuinely changed the whole vibe. What I didn't expect: every time I wash it the pattern resets and I can redo it — so it's basically a different room every month without spending anything extra. For a college budget that's actually kind of genius.

Took me a moment to understand that the markers are meant to wash out — I thought I was ruining it at first. Could be clearer on the packaging.

Once I figured that out, I understood why my nephew hasn't put it down. He's 8 and usually bounces between activities every ten minutes. He spent an entire afternoon on this. His mom texted me later asking what I'd ordered. Getting two more for Christmas — one for his cousin, one spare because I suspect this one's going to get a lot of use.

Looks a little "craft store" in the photos — didn't look like much honestly.

Bought it for my girlfriend as a random gift. She used it while watching TV, finished coloring a section, washed it, started over with different colors the next weekend. Now it lives on our couch and gets rotated every few weeks depending on her mood. Neither of us expected to actually care about a coloring blanket. Here we are.
